Terms of service

Plain language, because that’s how we work. This site and our services are operated by Highpoint Labs, LLC. Using either means you accept what’s below.

The services

We build software: AI-native products, web and mobile applications, and embedded engineering work. The specifics of any engagement — scope, deliverables, timeline, and price — are set out in a proposal or statement of work we both agree to. If a written agreement and these terms conflict, the written agreement wins.

Our own products

Products we build and operate ourselves, such as Verteo and Tablecard, carry their own terms on their own sites. Those terms govern their use, not these.

Your materials, your code

Anything you bring to an engagement — data, content, credentials, existing code — remains yours, and we use it only to do the work. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, deliverables we build for you are yours once they’re paid for. We keep the right to reuse general know-how, techniques, and open-source components that aren’t specific to your project.

Confidentiality

What you share with us about your business stays between us. We’re happy to sign a mutual NDA before a scope call if you prefer.

No guarantees about outcomes

We build carefully and stand behind our work, but software involves judgment calls and third-party pieces we don’t control. We don’t guarantee particular business results, and this website is provided as is. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to what you paid us for it in the preceding twelve months.

Acceptable use

Don’t ask us to build or host anything unlawful, deceptive, or infringing. We may decline work for any reason and will tell you promptly if we do.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms materially we’ll post the update here. Questions go to hello@highpointlabsllc.com or Highpoint Labs, LLC, 3400 Cottage Way, Ste G2 #36040, Sacramento, CA 95825. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
